Dan Chabot was an editor, writer and columnist for one of the nation's major daily newspapers, The Milwaukee Journal (now the Journal-Sentinel). For many years he headed the paper's most popular weekday section, the Green Sheet, which offered an entertaining mix of humor, nostalgia and whimsy to readers, and where he won a few awards for headline writing ("Arrividerci Aroma"). These days he lives in Florida, where he turned to writing novels after concluding that his mediocre golfing skills were not going to take him anywhere.
